“A shoddy service from Devitt who gave me notice that my scooter policy would be cancelled without stating a specific reason for taking this action. I phoned from abroad and held on for a considerable length of time before speaking to an advisor - the inference here being that the company deployed insufficient resources to deal with customer issues.
I received a verbal assurance that all requirements had been satisfied and there were no outstanding issues.
Several days later the error was compounded by its repetition. A letter was sent to me at my home address warning me of cancellation of my policy.
All very alarming as I was using the Scooter in Greece. I had to go through the same routine of calling and holding on for an advisor to resolve. Emails sent to the company did not meet with a response and a promised return call did not materialise.”
