The Corten Steel Dual-Flame Smokeless Fire Pit is a gorgeous weathering steel, near-smokeless centerpiece perfect for afternoon get-togethers, open fire cooking, lazy Sunday evenings, or any outdoor event. It features 5/8-inch holes in a double-wall structure that draws in air from the bottom 3-inch slots and feeds heated oxygen to the top. This air movement fuels the fire at its base and provides a rise in heated air through the vented holes at the top of the burn chamber. Then, vented holes near the top of the chamber fuel the preheated oxygen to the flame resulting in a hotter fire with less smoke and ash. Never worry about heavy smoke fumes disrupting your open-fire experience again! While not in use, utilize the Corten Steel Fire Pit Cover to protect the pit of your Corten Steel Dual-Flame Smokeless Fire Pit. This weighted steel lid is made of the same tough Corten Steel material and will prevent rain and snowfall from entering the fire pit when not used.

Works like a charm and at a fraction of the price of the other models. I used my neighbors Solo Stove a few times before buying the Corten, and I have to say I prefer the Corten. Both do their job in terms of being smokeless, but I prefer the look, weight, and height of the Corten. Also, the lid is very handy. Overall I'd say the Corten is more functional than the Solo Stove, in terms of gathering around a fire, I also much prefer the aesthetic, and the spacing of the secondary combustion holes on the Corten creates an awesome swirl to the flame that you don't see with the Solo Stove. Oh and again, all at a fraction of the price, which was really a massive plus. I couldn't rationalize $400 for a firepit, but the $90 I spent on this was well worth it. Well built, very functional, great price!

Retired engineer - burn physics is same as Solo fire pit and I prefer the rich rust color over stainless steel Solo. Fits my backyard textures and colors, excellent size and good hot clean burn. Unit is light enough to ‘flip and dump’ cool ash. No issues found with this fire pit. Create small fire to warm the unit before adding cordwood, greatly reduces initial smoke by about 90%. Recommended to friends.
