“I'd previously ordered a shell cordovan Fat Herbie, so I knew I was safe ordering an Ashland watch strap. What I received exceeded my expectations. The Nomad hardware oozes quality and works perfectly. It's also much easier to put on than the stock rubber band.
I was a bit concerned that the garnet colour might be a bit too brash and red for my tastes – especially the thread colour. But in real life, it's a bit darker, a more subtle burgundy. And I know it will only get better with age. Overall, a huge upgrade from the nasty rubber strap that came with my watch, both in appearance and comfort. It feels sooooo nice.
I think the $20 shipping cost to Canada is a touch high for a watch band, but not enough to dock a star, especially since there were no customs issues. Highly recommended.”
