“I thought I wanted the natural shell because it’s “the best” but when I saw in one of Phil’s videos the brown cypress fat herbie Matt was wearing, and saw how it was ageing well, I knew I wanted to get the brown cypress as an entry purchase. Got a cxl tray and a Dublin comb sleeve too and all three leathers just feel so good in the hand. I’m used to thin, heavily finished leathers in wallets and they just don’t compare. It’s like the difference between machined aluminum and aluminum foil! I’ll get a one shot case in natural shell next to satisfy my curiosity about shell cordovan.”
“I have still not received this package, a full two weeks after the product was shipped. The Ashland leather products are top notch, and I have several of them. I wear them proudly. But the delivery has always been a problem. USPS charges US$40 to deliver to Australia, and the parcels have always been delayed. For such high charges, the delivery service is clearly unacceptable. Ashland should switch to other delivery providers.”
