I was wrong.
This came in my last mystery box, and I'm so glad it did, otherwise I would have never experienced it. The texture is so different from the shiny and glossy side of the shell, it feels almost like suede (but waaaaaay better) and the nuances of the random dye marks and range of colors is just mesmerizing, and the patina it forms is like nothing I have ever seen before.
