“I’ve been enjoying my Johnny the Fox wallet in Natural Shell for less than a month and it is already starting to develop a slight patina. I chose the reverse shell for the interior surfaces and have two sections displaying a good part of the “Horween Genuine Shell” stamp (extra cool).
It is the perfect size and configuration for me. The traditional billfold design has just enough card slots and ample room for cash.
I have just stated exploring shell. I did not realize how easily the membrane takes on fine scratches (even a rough fingernail or some Velcro on my cargo pants pocket). I found out that just rubbing over area with thumb will blend in the oils and “self-repair” to a large extent. I like my stuff to tell a story and I look forward to a long novel.”
