“I got my first Fat Herbie almost 7 years ago and it has been my daily wallet since then. Absolutely the best wallet I have ever owned, and the shell cordovan is the perfect leather for it. It gets better with age seems like such a cliche, but it truly does seem to get better with age.
I’ve bought another fat herbie since the first one, and it’s just as great as my old one, but I’ve already gone back to my old herbie. Once it’s broken in it is ridiculously comfortable.

Just kept coming back to it in the hours I spent on Ashland's website trying to decide which SMALL wallet to buy. That said, after I placed my order I was concerned that it would be too big. Let me tell you, after 2 weeks in my back pocket, I absolutely LOVE IT! No regrets whatsoever. Carries much smaller than its size. “Got a fat herbie shell in color 8 marbled for a Father’s Day gift. It is simply the best functioning wallet around. It fits perfectly in your side pocket but IMO it really is designed for the back pocket. It will never be bulky & uncomfortable when you sit which is the real test. It patinas well & is just as smooth as the day I bought it a year ago. Light scratches are removed easy enough as well.”
