“The Fat Herbie was purchased to replace a #8 shell cordovan bi-fold I purchased from Allen Edmonds that has served me well for 15+ years. The shell cordovan never wears out, but the stitching needed repair on a couple of occasions and it is failing again. So it was time for a change. The Fat Herbie is extremely well made and it is indeed a treat for the eyes. I am looking forward to pressing it into service, with my single regret being that I didn't purchase the natural shell cordovan version.

“I came from using a traditional bifold, and I've always hated trifolds due to how bulky they feel in the back pocket when sitting. The bifold doesn't feel as bulky but it definitely becomes noticeable when taking a 20+ minute drive. I end up always removing it from my pocket and stuffing it in the mid console. This new Fat Herbie is perfection! It's VERY thin when sitting on your back pocket and is barely noticeable. I was a little concerned at first because of how tall the wallet is, but it still all fits in the backpacker of my jeans. Since it's tall and the way the layout is for your cards, it's a very thin wallet, but feels amazing. The leather quality is also very top notch 100%! I'd buy cardovan next if I had the $$$. The only thing I wish, is that the fat herbie was hand stitched, but it's not a deal breaker. Definitely worth the $ I spent”
