Another great purchase! Some would say it is an addition buying these. Now up to 2 Capone, 2 Tony and 2 fat

Perfect wallet! The amaretto shell cordovan is gorgeous. It develops a beautiful patina.

Great wallet and even better customer service. Phil put up with my OCD and let me pick the exact Tony I wanted.

So I’ve had my Tony the Ant, Amaretto shell wallet for only a little more than a week, and it’s already developing a very subtle patina that looks amazing. The card slots and the bill slot have molded perfectly to the contents of the wallet, and it looks and feels even better than when I first took it out of the box. The ink Horween stamp in the middle of the inside looks awesome , although on this one, it’s upside down. I’m not sure if that was an accident or not, but it makes it more interesting . This wallet is described as a minimalist wallet, but it holds plenty.. I have three cards in each slot and about ten bills in the money slot. I could still easily fit about four more cards and a few more bills if I needed. My only regret is that I forgot to order my initials put on it. That just gives me an excuse to buy another one in the future. I highly recommend this beautiful quality wallet . Thank you Ashland Leather.

This is the latest addition to my wallet collection (and my 6th wallet from Ashland) I'm proud to say that I have tried all of their wallet styles and this is, in my not so humble opinion, the absolute best. A smaller Fat Herbie with pleasing aesthetics, amazing craftsmanship and the perfect color. Phil has been talking sooooo much about the Amaretto Shell Cordovan lately that I just had to give it a try, and boy I'm glad I did.it doesn't matter how many pictures you have seen or how many videos of it you have watched, you HAVE to experience it in person or you will never understand the hype. If you enjoy lighter and/or unique colors, you might as well stop searching, this is for you. Regardless of which wallet style you like the best, give Amaretto a try. We welcome you to the Amaretto Shell Club in advance =)

I have many Tony the Ant's in varied Cordovan shell colors/reverses/double reverse, Fat Herbie, Jack and Apple Straps. Would not use anything else. I treat my Ashland's like a piece of jewelry; I use them and at the end of each day, I buff them with a hose hair brush to retain the rich shine. There is just something about owning a piece of history, which this company is! I refer Ashland to all of my company clients! They love it! Phil is making me a band new, custom Tony as we speak!! Can't wait to get it! Thanks Fellas!

This the fourth wallet I’ve purchased from Ashland leather, and the first one for me. I’ve been on a “thinner is better” wallet binge over recent years, but inevitably the wallets thicken up as I put more cards in them. I try to limit myself to about 5 cards total, and some cash. While I rarely use cash anymore, it’s important to carry some bills on me as they’re required for some purchases. Thin wallets with rolled up bills stuffed in them become thicker very quickly, and access to the cash and cards then becomes more difficult. The Fat Herbie wallet seems incredibly useful, but personally is too big for pocket carry. I did buy two Fat Herbie Passport Wallets for my sons, though, and I would consider one for me too, but I rarely travel overseas. This Tony the Ant seemed to be a better fit for my use, and I can say it was a smart purchase. Beyond its functional design, I chose the Amaretto Shell Cordovan leather version. I love shell for my shoes, and this color was unique. The wallet looks so good one could mistake it for a dessert. The cards are a tight fit initially, but are wearing in nicely and make accessing them a breeze. The wallet is a bit on the thick side as the Tony has a cash slot on the outside, but it makes sense for me and while it bulges in the pocket, it’s fine. It’ll often go in a backpack anyway, but is secure in pants, even today’s “skinny” chinos and jeans. Again, I’d say this wallet is a functional work of art; it almost looks too good to use. The craftsmanship and leather quality is off-the-charts. The only downside is that it’s a bit on the thick side, but all wallets seem to get that way over time and this one will stay as it is because of its design. If you’re on the fence, it might be one arrow in the your wallet quiver that you’ll ever need. If you’d rather not pay more for the shell cordovan, they have less expensive but still high quality Horween chromexcel leather options for it. You can’t go wrong.
