“Just get this razor. Don’t sit here and think other shaving subscriptions are better. They’re not. This one is perfection. Other subscription brands have given me awful razor burn, and I’ll have a permanent scar on my ankle from one razor taking a literal CHUNK out of my leg.

“I couldn't believe how well this razor shaves! You don't feel anything, you don't get any bumps, and yet the hair is totally gone in 1-2 swipes. I switched from billie and Athena is certainly much better in terms of closeness of shave, durability, and especially how long a razor lasts. A billie razor lasts a few shaves and then starts to get mushy and unusable, but I'm still on my first Athena razor and I've shaved like, five times already; still feels and works like new. It provides less lubrication than a billie, but I think that's necessary for its longevity. The handle quality blows billie's out of the water too. I think Athena's handle colors, though, are pretty godawful – I originally ordered a coral one thinking it would look about the same color as my coral billie, but it didn't and it honestly hurt to look at lol. I ended up reordering the kit for a black one instead and it's so beautiful I forgive them for the rest.”
