“I have used the Billie razors for the past year or so. I have always found the Athena razors better looking, but I never wanted to switch just because of that. Well the last few months of using my Billie razors, I started to get major razor burn/bumps, even on my legs and I never get those on my legs. Also, the razors seems to only stay sharp for 2 uses, when I used to be able to use them for weeks without replacing the razor heads. Due to this, I decided to switch to Athena. I got my first razor handle and 2 blades and I LOVE THEM. The shave is smoother/closer than the Billie razors and I don't even use shaving cream. And, of course, the handle is much cuter too :). Only down side is that Athena doesn't have a travel case like Billie does - please add that soon!

“I NEVER write reviews but I recently bought the Athena starter kit and felt like it deserved it! I have trouble finding razors that doesn't cause irritation or little cuts (especially in the more delicate areas) I've tried literally every otc razor there is and even the dsc. I drive my bf crazy because I'm always buying new razors because I haven't found one that I love, until now. The Athena shaves close, you dont have to go over and over certain spots, and it almost feels like its not cutting or doing anything because it glides so smoothly. Definitely delivers a good smooth result. Also I've shaved with same blade 4 times so far and I can't tell a difference in the first time. (I usually have to use a new blade every time I shave.) Only problem I've had is the razor has popped off the handle a few times in the middle of shaving witch is a little annoying (the reason for 4 stars instead of 5). Overall best razor ive tried, would recommend!”

“I signed up for Athena because I was getting horrible razor burn no matter what razor or shaving cream I used. I'm not sure if it's postpartum hormones causing sensitivities or what, but I no longer have that problem with the Athena razor and shaving cream! Definitely get a smooth finish each time with no burns. Also enjoying the sleek design and magnetic holder. :)”
