“So I've been using this razor for only a little over a week. I had been using DSC but the handle kept breaking so was on the hunt for another razor. I thought of Billie but I saw how people were switching from Billie to this one so decided to try it. Here's my review... The things I love...It glides over your skin and doesn't feel like it will cut you. I love the feel of the handle. I use a sugar scrub to shave with and the blades don't get as clogged like the DSC did and rinses out pretty good with just water. I love the magnetic holder! After using it a little over a week I feel like the blade was just as good as when i started. Customer service is great. My first package got damaged in route and it didn't take long for them to reply back to me and they got another one sent to me right away. Unfortunately I found out the other evening that you don't want to drop it. It slipped out of my hand while taking it off of the magnetic holder and the blade broke so i had to throw the blade away. The first few times I shaved i didn't think i got as close of a shave as DSC but i shave every night so it wasn't too bad and it seems to be getting better the longer I use it. I will continue to use unless the blades keep breaking every time I drop it. Will just try to be more careful.”

“I’ve only had the Athena for a few weeks now but so far I’m loving it! It’s the perfect weight for me-not too light, not too heavy. I love the angle of the stem to razor blade as I feel I get a better shave with the wide angle. When I received the Athena I actually hadn’t shaved for months and the blade was able to cut through a forest on my legs. The razor also stays put while shaving and does not pop off randomly while shaving like other brands. The shaving cream is thick and creamy like a cloud. I think I’ve found a perfect match with Athena.”
