“My skin is super sensitive so I'm skeptical of any razor I try. So far, every razor I've tried, I immediately break out or have terrible razor burn. I used my Athena Club razor for the first time today and did not have any razor burn! I'm hoping I get the same results when I use it when my leg hair is not as long!”
“I had Billie razor for a while and didn't care for the charcoal and the fact that after two shaves it felt like it was ripping off my skin. I have extremely sensitive skin and get razor burn really easily. However, I have tried Athena for more than a week now and with daily and every other day shaving it has been so much better. The lubricating strips still work and I have kept the same razor head-on. It doesn't become a gunked up sticky mess and get everywhere like the previous razor. It doesn't feel dull and like it is ripping the hair out from the roots instead of cutting the hair off. It still leaves my skin feeling way smother than the previous razor as well. The biggest thing I had an issue with was when I received the kit the hook to hold the razor would not work. It comes with a 3M piece of double-sided tape thing and I was able to stick it to my shower just fine. However, with a little added pressure the hook came right off and the 3M tape stayed on my shower wall. From there I tried everything to get it to stick, but absolutely nothing would stick to the back of the hook for some reason. Although, I did mention this in a comment and Athena immediately contacted me and said they would ship out another hook, waiting to see if the replacement is any better. Hoping it is because I like this razor and keeping it at hand and high away from my two little kids would be a great help. I would suggest this razor to anyone especially if you have sensitive skin and shave daily, including the more sensitive areas.”
“Just canceled my Billie subscription after only one shave with Athena. This, this is the shave I have been missing. I will certainly be trying out more of Athena’s products in the future. I would love to have a one stop shop for all my essential womanly needs. Only note: the 3M sticky for the magnetic wall mount didn’t work. Luckily I have a stand in the shower that has a razor holder, so problem solved for me.”
“Seriously the best!! I have super sensitive skin and I’m super pale/ashy white (especially in the winter). Every other razor (DSC, in store brands, men’s & women’s) makes me dry and itchy and gives me razor burn. This razor is amazingly smooth and gives such a close shave!! And I don’t look like a wet, plucked chicken afterwards!!”
