“I have very sensitive skin. I am allergic to nickel, artificial fragrances and several other ingredients commonly used in personal care items. Other razors, especially those with lubricant strips, make my skin itchy, break out and trigger eczema. Unfortunately I wasn't able to get info from Athena on the ingredients of their strips, but I decided to take a risk. I've shaved every other day with my Athena for 2 weeks, and so far, so good. I also like how it feels in my hand -- there's a good weight to it.”

“I was pretty nervous choosing a razor club but I’m really happy with Athena. I have really sensitive skin and pretty thick hair and most razors either can’t get all the hair or leave me with horrible ingrown hairs and pain. I’m not sure if it’s how Athena razors are spaced but it shaved off all my hair with no effort and minimal itchy grow back. Of course with any razor there is going to be itching but Athena is super easy to use and really convenient and well priced”
