This was my first test of prepper food. I was expecting much worse. I cooked it for longer than the stated 20 minutes as I live at 5,600 ft. but the chicken (which was minimal) was not rehydrated well and the noodles were a bit firm for my taste. The sauce was creamy and tasty. This makes a decent long-term storage option and if one would add a variety of fresh veggies part way through the cooking process this would make a good everyday meal that I think the family would enjoy. I would recommend this to my friends.

This is a very delicious product. I made this for the family just to test the quality of what was being sold and we were all very impressed. The price is good and the taste is great. Will be ordering more in the future.

I got this at Costco in a set, and tried it out on a camp stove. the longer cook time burned through alcohol fuel, but with a wood burner, this would not be a problem at all. The flavor was fantastic! not salty, and creamy and filling. i added a scoop of dehydrated veggies, which added to the overall yumminess. i liked it so much, I'm looking at the Augason website to get more of this.

Like James, I found the chicken needed more hydration, so I separated the chicken from the sauce powder and put the chicken in the two cups of cooking water. By the time the water had reached boiling the chicken was well on its way to total hydration, added the sauce and noodles and cooked as directed. Not the best Alfredo I've ever eaten, but not too bad either.

I prepared the Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo for dinner on two occasions and loved it both times. No one would ever know that it is a freeze-dried product unless you told them. I followed the cooking instruction exactly as printed on the label. I added freshly cooked chicken to it the second time which made it even better. I highly recommend this product for everyday meals and especially to have on hand for emergency use. I prefer to buy from Augason Farms because many of the foods that they sell state that they do not contain Genetically Modified ingredients. If there is another company that does this, I've not learned of them. That is the most important factor to me in choosing whom to buy from.

Pretty good but we found the chicken pieces need more hydration time than directions indicate for the cooking time. Second try was better after we cooked at a lower temp and for a longer period of time. Also added some cut up broccoli and salt & pepper. Ordered more after these samples.
