The #10 can needs to be filled to capacity rather than 1-lb-7-oz filling. The onions are very strong and somewhat 'green' in appearance indicating these are not "choice" grade as are the on-the-shelf dried onions at Costco & Sam's. None the less, if cooking with these onions they work just fine.

The product is acceptable for the price but it is a VERY deceptive package, buying the #10 can. This package is only 1/3 full and therefor uses much more space than it should. I will only buy one of a product from now on to see if its worth the investment.

Admittedly, I've not used them yet. KEEP READING! I've been leery of these sorts of products, and am shy of change. However I was at Walmart last night, and, like I do every time I get groceries there, I found myself in the same aisle. I realized we were out of onions AGAIN, and that we go through them so much that I could try the can (I mean, it's just onions...), and then realized I was spending considerably more buying the smaller jars in the spice aisle. "Forget that!" I said aloud, and I took a leap. I just opened the can. I was immediately hit with the strong scent of onions, which smelled DELICIOUS. I only opened the can enough to be able to refill my smaller jars, and as I couldn't actually see the product, I sprinkled some into my hand. I was surprised at how chunky looking the pieces are. I'm very excited about using them this weekend! I may have to venture farther and pick up more products after payday! :)
