Honey powder, like liquid honey, can be used as a flavoring or sweetener. It provides the typical flavor characteristics of honey, but with a 30 year shelf life. In the powder form, the consistency is easier to handle than liquid honey. Use for dry rubs, cereals, in hot and cold drinks, and on nuts and seeds before roasting. Reconstituted it is delicious on breads, rolls, or muffins. I love the Honey Powder. Rather than turning the powder back in a liquid/syrup, I use it as a sweetener in my morning hot green tea. I also use it when I prepare the dehydrated apples. As much as I love good fresh honey it can get expensive and if it is not used in a reasonable amount of time, usually it has to be thrown out...so.. for me the Honey Powder is the best solution.

I USE HONEY POWDER IN LIEU OF SUGAR AND/OR ARTIFICIAL SWEETNERS. I DRINK HERBAL, DECAFFEINATED TEA AND THE HONEY POWDER AND HAS JUST THE RIGHT SWEETENING, IN OTHER WORDS IT DOESN'T TAKE AWAY THE HERBAL FLAVOR. ALSO, I LOVE IT ON OATMEAL WITH ADDED WALMUTS.

I just opened my Honey Powder and it is nice in my tea. My concern is what does the term factory refined mean and how much fructose does it have? Thanks Kim Bentley RESPONSE: Hi Kim, refinery means it's a thicker syrup and sharing the percentage of fructose would reveal too much of our honey powder recipe.
