I decided to open up a can from my storage, as Augason is doing 40% off regularly. Our family loves them, they are so light and fluffy and tasty. I like to make things go further so I put a little more water in and they were still great. We will be buying these as treats for the family as well as storage. These are definitely in our deluxe plan.

We tried these and aren't impressed. Would do for times when its better than not having any but not good enough for every day use. No matter how long I cooked them the middles stayed doughy and odd texture. The flavor was ok but texture is just weird. It only made 5 batches as well so if you have a very large family like we do (9 of us) its only good for a couple of meals. Haven't decided if I will buy a can or two just for storage or not yet. Thinking Jiffy mix sealed up in plastic bucket might be the way we go.

Pretty good. One everyday size can made 12 muffins so they are a little expensive compared to store bought, the #10 can is of course a better deal. Also, a little on the bland side - next time I'll add 1/4 tsp of salt to bring out the flavor. But slightly bland is a good thing, means no crappy chemicals are being used. Didn't notice the blueberries being hard but we let them sit for a few minutes. I would purchase this item again.

We made a batch of these this evening and they are delicious. We didn't notice the blueberries being hard, though. Maybe this has been corrected? I don't know.. but what do you expect for something with a shelf life of 10yrs+? The muffins turned out fluffy and delicious. I expect nothing less from these guys. Have you tried their Blueberry Pancake mix? The best.

I really like this muffin mix. I make them quite frequently. The slightly hard blueberries do not really bother me, but as others have said, let the batter sit out for awhile and the berries soften. No big deal. All in all, I like these better than the regular brands from the stores. Plus, it's convenient to have the large cans for storage.

I did not care for these at all...maybe it was because of the blueberries being hard, but the whole thing tasted very artificial to me- I threw away most of the muffins.

The little "blueberries" are hard as rocks so you need to let the batter sit for a while (I make it the night before, which is also convenient for us because of early work schedules). But, once this is done, this really is one of the best muffin mixes we've used. And I love that it has such a long shelf life. I've purchased many cans - some for long term storage, some for use now. And the price is very good.

You need to let the batter sit for a while (over night is good) as the "blueberries" are hard as rocks and need to soften. But, once that happens, this really is the best mix for pancakes we've had.
