As you could see the immobilizer programming is available for your model in the menu and is supported on 2010 VEs. If the unit is able to connect to the vehicle and diagnose certain modules but the other not the issue is most likely the OBD port.
When coding if voltage or communication from OBD protocol is not consistent this may result in no communication or not able to perform or sometimes damage the scan tool. Best advise to test voltage on OBD port (which is different from battery voltage) or have a unit like TDB013 connected. We also have breakout box or TDB014.
