“The filter is quite good at filtering, however the flow rate was not great. I bought 2 spare 2l pouches, and the first one sprung a leak after only filtering about 5 litres - this may be me simply learning how to use it, but the creek water wasn't very dirty and I was surprised that I would need to back-flush it so often. After this I took to back-flushing after about every litre, and it then performed fine. Someone else hiking with me had a few 1.25L soft drink bottles, so I then took to using one of these to avoid the risk of pouches bursting.”
