The tuning dial is small and rather difficult to tune, this is not like the old high-quality radio equipment, which it seems no one is making anymore (with this set of prepper-friendly features). With some patience tuning and at least a half-decent radio signal it works fine and does the job as advertised. The crank is great, the size is great and it should work so long as you don't stick it in a draw and never get it out until it's needed, lithium batteries need 6-monthly basic attention.”
