“I am a bit of a fan of the fire-starting kit and keep a pack in my day pack in the ute. I have also given several away as small gifts to mates who do some camping and the like. The matches always ignite and the tinder tabs are there if you need them. Just a really handy piece of kit, when compared to a box of matches that will get crushed or lost.”
“An excellent fire starter, I have them in my brew bag inside of my work ute. So I can get a fire going along the side of the road when I am stuck by floods and the like. Which has happened to me many times over the years. I always carry a brew bag with food, a cooker and stormproof matches. As branches can be wet and need that extra heat to burn.”
