“Have only used the charger a couple of times. Flexibility of connection to either anderson plug or alligator clips to battery terminals was an attraction for me.
An addition of an ammeter to unit would also be an advantage.
Surprised at how hot the unit becomes when charging a battery hoping this does not reduce lifetime of unit as plan to have it connected to a Thumper (powering an Engle 40 litre fridge). We are planning a caravan trip around Aussie and hope the unit will provide reliability.

“had problems with charging batteries in my caravan found there was no DC DC charger fitted to run 2 batteries direct from car alternator allowing alternator to burn out twice.
