“After a number of searches & looking at reviews across a wide range of variety battery charges on the market today - I settled on the Kick Ass 12V 20AMP 8-stage battery charger to replace our factory fitted one in our camper trailer which is so noisy it would keep the mother-in-law up at night. Ordering on-line was seamless and I also picked up a number of component items along with my purchase so the installation process was easy. “Have now used the charger a couple of times on a 140Ah AGM battery in a battery box. (Currently testing a solar mat - given we are presently getting some nice sunny days, I have not needed to use the "mains" charger recently). However, it is easy to use - simply plug the Anderson connection into the battery (box), plug into a mains (240 volt) power outlet and switch it on. It quickly identifies what sort of battery it is dealing with - in my instance the AGM (LED) display lights up. The other (LED) displays on the top of the charger allow you to see the progress of the charge process as it passes through each of the 8 stages (for those that like to watch) - the displays are much appreciated. It does not take very long for it to bring the battery back up to full charge. I am very happy with this charger, it is far better than any of the others that I have previously owned.
