“Firstly, the Kickass 30L drawer fridge does hold the 35 x 375ml cans as stated, that's Ix Block with 5xMixers for the night cap. Secondly, it chilled down from 25 degree c to 2 degree in an hour, although the beer was a bit chilled already. Postage, it arrived within 4 days, the wife was concerned what had arrived as I was trying to sneak this luxury past her ( I was only gone a few hours, what's the chances of that ?) . I put it on a amp tester, on switching the fridge on it drew up to 3.6 amps then settled down to 2.7 amps, over the 24 hour period it averaged 2.03 amps and it was about 26 degree day so not bad. I had looked at the others in the 30L field and at -10c the Kickass Drawer Fridge was the coldest out there except for the Evakool 40L that holds 45 cans and does a -16c but was too big for what I needed. Over all it seems a good purchase for the price and works very well, buy one.”
“The fridge arrived quickly, and while I haven’t installed it and tried it in the car yet, I did have it on for a few days in the house.
It reached temperature in only about 30 mins and maintained a constant temperature.
I like the space-saving concept of the drawer fridge and the fact that it eliminates the need for a fridge slide.
It did run a little louder than I expected, but I doubt this will be a problem when fully installed.
A fridge thermometer tells me that the displayed temperature is about 5 degrees below the actual inside temp. Still, the bottles I put in felt cooler at a 3 degree setting than the ones in my kitchen fridge. At that point I found out my domestic fridge is running at 9 degrees…and I’m not dead yet, so I let the Kickass run warmer!
In summary, looks like it will more than adequately serve its purpose in my weekend camper, and good value too.”
