“The container did not have a suitable way of closing it. The thread seemed to be faulty. We tried numerous times to seal it but it just wouldn't screw down correctly. As we had already prepared all the other ingredients, we pressed on and forced the lid on, hoping that it was airtight (it is a bit hard to upend it once it is full to check for leaks). We have bottled the first batch, so we will see in the next couple of weeks if it has worked or not. We also found the instructions quite difficult to follow as first-time brewers and it contradicted some things that we watched in your youtube videos. I have emailed you but did not get any response from you so I thought I would put it up here as well.”
