“Bought this with the California lager yeast and my brew ended up a bit darker than the image, more a cognac colour that pours with a creamy head and looks impressive in the glass (used similar shape to the image above). For my palate, a perfect balance of sweetness and bitterness and tastes like a proper German beer (can't stand most shop bought craft brews especially IPA). Pretty happy with the first couple sampled so I have no doubt I'll have this one on regular rotation. Great drop!”
