“It tastes okay but I expected better from something with the Buderim brand. I brewed it per instructions and with supplied ingredients but according to my gravity readings, I wound up with 5-5.5% alcohol and not the 4% noted in the description. I am wondering if the total brew was meant to be 23 litres and not 20 litres per recipe? Also, bottles didn't carbonate particularly well. Bottled them in 500ml PET bottles with 1 carbonation drop and whilst this is about 1g less than recommended, I still think there should have been more carbonation. Basically, I have an alcoholic cordial drink which is fine if that's what you are after.”
“Very easy to brew and the whole keg disappeared quickly at our recent party. More popular than the keg of beer especially amongst the younger crowd. Enhanced by a touch tartness but everybody went back for more.”
