“I've brewed this 3 times with good results. Time in the bottle definitely improved it (over 4 weeks at least and it kept getting better). The second time I brewed it the Citra hops had been replaced by Mosaic (may have been the result of Covid delivery delays) so I added an pack of Citra as an experiment at the dry hopping stage with the Mosaic. The combination really improved the beer based on taste test from friends - it had particularly attractive passion fruit aromas which kind of makes no sense as those hops were added in both brews at the boil stage. I haven't tried the beer from the 3rd batch where I did the same again(it is still conditioning in the bottle) though at bottling stage it did seem more bitter and less aromatic than last time round but I've learnt you've got to give it time in the bottle to really know.”
