The yeast used in this kit is Mangrove Jacks M44. The lag time for this yeast (gathered from online reviews) is 3 days. The yeast is also slower than other yeasts so the primary fermentation is not your 7 days but more like 13 days. Also, an approximate ending SG would have been helpful. Forewarned of the brew time you should enjoy the end product.”
