“An absolute cracking IPA. I didn't add the vanilla pod, but sort of wish I had. I did though add 150 grams of quick oats to the fermenter immediately after I poured the hot boiled liquid in. I also only made a 19 litre brew. It's only 3 weeks since bottling and it is already fantastic. The brew kits from AHB rarely, if ever, disappoint. This one and the Black IPA have been next level though. I highly recommend this brew if you like this style.”

“I've gotta say, when I came into the store looking to get a punchy, hoppy IPA recipe kit I wasn't expecting to be recommended this! Having let this sit for a while now after bottling, and having had my first taste a few days ago now, it is sensational! Quite Hoppy (however I reckon it could be even hoppier, maybe add an additional dry hop right on the last day before bottling), but doesn't detract from the rest of the flavours. It has an incredibly clean and crisp finish for a lactose beer - If you're looking for more of a creamier finish, I'd suggest doubling, or even potentially tripling the lactose content to get that real smooth finish. Definitely one I want to try and make again, with the aforementioned tweaks to hone this one to my ideal preferences - 9/10 would brew again!”
