“OMG! I absolutely LOVE my Torchietto Grande 5.3L! Best buy ever! I used it tonight to remove the salty water from my bucket of eggplant strips and it worked like a dream! I am using it to make 'Melanzane Sotto Aceto'...which is Italian for pickled eggplant. The eggplant is sliced and salted for 24 hours...then the fluids are squeezed out using the Grande 5.3L, then it is put into vinegar for another 24 hours...and again squeezed using the Grande...to finish...I simply add vegetable oil, oregano, chilli and put into jars!”
