“The main picture advertising this product is of it being used as a light switch protector and the description says it can be used this purpose. However it is actually for plug sockets and the large gap at the bottom for the lead/wire allows easy access by children to the light switch. Although it does not work for this purpose the company have so far said I have incorrectly purchased the item despite their adverting. Do not buy this as a light switch protector or you will have been misled.”

“Excellent idea to have the squeeze buttons on either side. My LO def cant get into that. So working perfectly right now over a light switch just above his cot. Getting annoying all the switching on and off lol. However, was definitely difficult to get round the switch and required a bit of effort stretching the cover. Once it's on it's very secure. We then had an issue with getting the screws back into place! Afterwards I realised the hole left on the cover for the plug wire is actually big enough for a little hand and in hindsight we should have put the cover on upside down so it flips down. But took too long to go on so will just have to hope the little man doesn't figure it out. The look he gave us when he couldn't get in! Hah! Expensive but does the job. Def recommend.”

“We’ve used this on the light switches as our 3 year old would not leave them alone - so far so good. We’ve put a little sticker on the one in his bedroom to jazz it up a bit...! Just slightly on the pricey side for what it is but so are most ‘child proofing’ items as “you can’t put a price on child safety””
