“This is a fantastic product. The instructions were easy to follow but it does take a competent person to install it safely. Some parts took 2 people. We used a laser level in order to get the height and sag dimensions set.”

“I took the opportunity to speak with Rob of BackYardZiplines (BYZ) for the free 25 minute consultation. His calculations for my start and end points and heights confirmed those which I'd made. But, he recommended I check BYZ's sister web site for packages. We found that their Airtime Zip Line Kit 100 FT contained all the items I needed for my 65 foot run (cables, stop block, turnbuckle, 3 foot spring brake, nuts & bolts, etc.) I subsequently ordered this package and installed it in about 3 hours with my wife's help in setting the tension. In the several weeks since installation my 2 grandchildren (6 and 7 years old) are able to ride the Zip Line by themselves, as the highest point is 5 1/2 feet, with the swing seat about 2 1/2 to 3 feet below the line. They've had tremendous fun. As the kids grow I will need to reinstall the line at a higher point, but my aim for now was to set it such that they can ride without having to wait for the availability of an adult, which they can do. I'm very grateful for the consultation that BYZ offers and the confidence that the equipment they sell is top quality. I might have been able to purchase the items separately at a lower cost from other sources, but experience and backing of BYZ professionals was a major factor in my decision.”
“Zipline installation went smoothly and took approximately 2 hours to complete. I was impressed when the turnbuckle tightened the Zipline to a reasonable tension. One suggestion was to have the top anchor line lengthened so it could double wrap the tree. Also trying to mount anchor lines on trees with blocks to protect was very difficult so I left the anchor line above the blocks.
The kids that first rode the zip were thrilled with the excitement and speed.”
