“The UFO Lame is a fun idea, but doesn't work well in practice. I've found that not enough of the razor blade sticks outside the UFO to cut the bread deeply enough. I now take the blade out of the UFO to score the bread, so the UFO is just a fancy storage device.”

The service at Banneton Man is second to none - I messaged Dirk late in the evening to check if they were in stock and he came back straightaway. I needed them as soon as possible but was unsure about Express Post given the COVID postal delays. Dirk made sure they were posted the following day and sure enough they turned up in 24 hours.
