“I adore my Kittiwake Shoes, they instantly make me feel well-dressed when just wearing a pair of jeans.
I am a size 43, with a wide foot. I find it difficult to find shoes that offer comfort, in particular around my toes. The wide strap across the foot on the Kittiwake provides me the support I need to hold my foot from sliding forward and adding to the pressure on my toes.
Because of my long feet, I the gap between the heel and the enclosed front section of the shoe, was much larger spaced out than shown in the image, for me, this meant the edge of the toe section was pressing down right on an uncomfortable spot at the base of my little toe. I contacted the ladies at Bared to seek advice, they offered to allow me to return my shoes, but I wanted to persist and preferred to find a solution. So, the girls sent me out a packet of little pads that can be secured to the 'pressure spot' on the shoe, providing additional support.”

“I’m between 39-40, but was I was recommend to buy the #40, shoes are a bit loose, they do rub at my heels and the top of my foot (due to the seam), but hopefully in time this will improve. For now I cannot wear them for long periods.

“These shoes look great and get so many compliments! The footbed is super comfy, however unfortunately with my problematic feet the buckle sticks into the side of my foot and my toes rub. With some stick on gel pads the rubbing has been stopped though :)”
