“I sized down from 37 to 36 because I read other reviews about the pointy toe styles being longer. Originally I tried them on in the black with patent black strap in 36 and they fit perfect but I decided that i needed the black and beige strap because the black strap emphasised my short legs. When I received the black and beige 36 they felt way smaller and I was worried they were too small, with my toes cramped in the front. I got a bunch of blisters and couldn’t wear them for too long at first. I persisted because I wore them outside so they weren’t able to be returned. Fast forward about 3 weeks and they stretched enough to fit perfect now. I found a bit of leather conditioner helped to loosen up the toe area.
They look very smart with all my work outfits. Only downside is that the buckle sets off the airport security screening most of the time, so you have to take them off at the airport. The other thing is that the strap felt tighter on one foot than the other and I can’t seem to get them 100% even. But overall I recommend them and hope they last a few years.”

If I strap the shoe as tight as possible - my foot is secure in place all day long - and I can walk comfortably and my energy levels are better.
I have narrow feet - so the front of the shoe is a little loose (but it actually helps prevent sweaty toes) and as I mentioned - the comfort and stability comes from the strap.”

“These shoes are so comfortable, so comfortable I went and replaced all my work footwear with Bared shoes! I have extremely wide feet (bunions) and found these had a lot of room in front so that my toes didn't feel squished. My only issue is that the patent strap on the black pair had started to crack around the buckle holes that I most frequently use. I suspect the strap will go before any other part of the shoe will.”
