I was worried at first about whether there would be enough support but there have not been any issues at all - I have worn these practically everyday to work and they have carried me whilst running to the station across grass and cobblestone. Not once have I felt like they were about to give way! The height is perfect and the heel is stable. The best thing is how they can instantly dress up any casual outfit, and enhance my formalwear. “I was looking for a stylish, yet comfortable pair of flats and I found the Kittiwake to be perfect for work and versatile enough to use for after-work drinks (pre-lockdown :). They can be dressed up or down and paired with pants or skirts. I wasn’t able to wear them all day at first as the little toes rubbed against the leather for the first wears. They are now my go-to flats as the heel height helps with my back pain. Plus, Bared customer service is second to none.”

“I originally ordered the Manakin as black work shoes that I could commute in and stand in all day. It didn’t suit my foot so I asked for some alternatives and I really loved this one! I got the black on black pair and have loved the professional look they give off without having to wear heels. They have a very small heel at the back which is perfect as even on a rainy day I am happy to wear these to work. They look great with stocking and pants and I look forward to wearing them in summer as well! I have medium-slim feet so if you have very thin feet you might find these a tad loose. Some people mentioned the buckle strap dig into their foot but I didn’t find this at all and had no problems wearing them for a whole work day straight off the bat.
