“This was the first pair of Bared shoes that I bought. I wear these shoes to work everyday. I work in an office but still have to do a fair bit of walking to and from work and during my lunch breaks.
I am flat footed and have overpronation. I have always struggled with the lack of support in any of the usual flats and the narrowness of pointy shoes. At the end of each day I would have sore ankles and toes!
From first wear, these shoes were comfortable and I could feel the support they gave my feet straight away. I no longer have sore feet at the end of my work day. The leather is soft and the soles are more durable than the ones you find on the more common brand shoes.
I have also had a lot of people compliment the look of the shoe.
The benefits and the quality of the shoe make it worth the price. I will definitely be buying more shoes from Bared.”
“First Bared purchase. Had initially bought the Brolga, but they had a fault and weren't in my size. Comparatively, the manakin feels like a bigger fit at the toes, but incredibly comfortable. I think it took a couple of days to get used to the footbed (i.e. the arch support that I clearly lacked from other shoes). But - no blisters and I feel incredible after 14+ hour work days when I'm on my feet. I also think the tiny heel makes me stand up straighter (compared to nine west pairs, etc) - but that's just me! Definitely a convert.”
