“My first experience buying shoes online, and I really wasn’t sure. Friends had recommended Bared Shoes, and I definitely needed something with a well-designed footbed to suit my bunions. I wear sandals all summer and wanted something casual yet dressy enough for work as a teacher. So I settled on the Heron sling back in dark tan. My shoes arrived, beautifully packaged in individual hemp bags, after only a couple of days. I tried them on and... well to be honest, I haven’t taken them off much in the past month since buying them. Apart from some initial stiffness across the top of my feet, the shoes are wonderful! The footbed almost feels like I’m wearing orthotics, fitting really well and supporting my flat feet. The soles are heavy and solid, and make a satisfying “clip clop” when I walk down the corridor. Some shoes have slippery soles, but these are fairly grippy, even on wet stairs. The only small issue I have had is the straps that are still stretching and wearing in, so I frequently have to tighten them so they doesn’t slip off my heels. These really are the best shoes that I have ever bought!”
