“These are my first pair of Bared shoes. After reading reviews I bought the 39 (sometimes in a closed toe shoe I go up to a size 40 as I can be in between sizes). I have flat feet so often slide forward in shoes as I haven the arch to stop me sliding. The 39 was too big across the toe but length seemed fine, but I was still unsure. So Bared kindly sent me the 38's to compare them with. These are much better, they fit across the toe and the length is fine. I do still slide around a little bit but I think this is mainly due to the innersole being made from a 'material' thats a little slippery- well that's my guess anyway. I've tried putting in those silicone 1/2 innersoles but that makes the width of the toe part too tight. So I'm now on the hunt (well once COVID is over) for a thin version of a non slip innersole. Anyhoo, the construction of the shoe is superb, the leather high quality and the arch support fantastic. Lastly I can't commend Bared enough for the fantastic after sales service. I wish more businesses were like this”
