“I've got a growing collection of Bared and LOVE them all, until this one. It is so pretty, and the footbed and arch is perfect, so no back pain or foot cramps, but the leather above the toe is really stiff and just won't wear in... I do have skinny feet bordering on narrows, but while my foot fits fine width wise into these, there is a gap between the top of my toes and the shoe - however even putting a padding at the bottom to 'lift' my toes into the front more doesn't work because the leather (only at the top) doesn't give at all to shape around my toes so they just severely blister and then bleed no matter what sneaky ways of trying to wear them I've tried... My last resort of adding a gel bed to the underside of the top of the toe is my best bet but is not so comfortable to actually wear. Disappointed because these are gorgeous shoes and I did receive compliments every time I tried to wear them, but alas, crippling. I continue to talk up Bared when asked! But maybe just not this style. (smile)”
Our leather does tend to soften up over consistent wear, the leather tends to drop forming a mould of such. I would highly recommend wearing thick socks to help stretch the leather. If this does not do the trick - please email us at info@bared.com.au
“I so wanted to love these as I have with my other Bared shoes. The 38 was too big and I keep slipping forward, but the 37 was too small and crowded my toes. The sales person at the store was so lovely and helpful and told me to get the 38. Also, I end up with terrible blisters every time I wear them. I know they say the shoe is made hard to last but if I’m getting blisters each time I’m not going to wear them much. Based on other reviews, I’m in the minority, so please don’t let me review put you off. I just thought I’d share my experience for others - especially for those between sizes.”

“Hands down the perfect work shoe. Nude to go with everything and elongate legs, heel high enough to feel 'dressed' but have never ever resulted in sore feet, even when doing lots of walking or being on them for 12 hours. I have bunions and can get terrible pain but these are wide enough in the toe box and have great arch support. All the stars.”
“After deliberating for months on whether to buy these shoes or not, I took the plunge last Thursday night and purchased my 1st pair - Kite in black. They arrived yesterday (Monday) and wore them to work today. I’ve been in these shoes for 11 hours. I have bunions, I’m hard on my feet (I’ve nearly walked quietly) and I’m not a slim person. I’m forever running around my office and every day visit another office where I’m constantly in my feet. These shoes are worth every single cent. Yes my feet ache (but I’ve been running around all day) however no where near now they felt yesterday when I got home after wearing another brand. If you are like me and are worried about spending a lot on shoes, don’t - take the plunge. Bared Footwear have won me over and I’ll be buying again - very soon.”
“Unlike the sandals and boots I have from Bared, these are definitely no where near as comfy which is a bit disappointing. Had a half day work showcase where I had to stand up most of the time and my feet were killing by the end...and I ended up having buying a pair of flats for the commute home because it was unbearable. Mind you, I don't usually wear heels, so I'm sure I lasted a lot longer than if I were in cheapo ones, but these definitely aren't something I can stand in all day like everyone else is saying in the reviews.”

“Wear all day and even to/from during my commute - never happened before. And to be able to pack them knowing you can wear with dresses, skirts, tapered pants, palazzo pants, jeans... bought them in black nubuck too.
I found Bared late one lazy Saturday afternoon strolling the Armadale high street while on holiday. I didn't have time to decide on shoes that day, but vowed to shop online from Sydney. I spoke with and emailed several different team members over an 8 week period to get the right colour, fit, size and range of shoes. After the initial purchase of 4 pairs I ended up having 9 pairs (at no extra charge) in my home to try with my wardrobe and try different styles to understand the comfort before deciding on others has been an added bonus. The team's generosity, care and trust was something I've never experienced with any other retailer - even Nordstrom in the US who are renowned for this.
I get daily compliments and requests for where to buy. I will never buy shoes anywhere else. I now have 4 pairs of Bared shoes from that one experience. Very happy !”
