“I was tossing up between the black Metaltail and the black Cardinal and went with the former (since I already have a pair of Cardinals in another colour).
The Metaltail is so beautiful - sleek lines and very comfortable for that heel height. But the Cardinals are more comfortable, although they look more casual than the Metaltail.
The opening of the Metaltail is also fairly narrow (without elastic) and the top part dug into my skin (and painfully rubbed) on first wear. Hopefully this will cease once they’ve been worn in a couple of times.
I think I still prefer the Cardinals, but gave the Metaltail 5 stars in anticipation that they will wear in nicely!”
