“These boots are comfy and beautiful in line with the high expectations I now have for all things Bared!
Unfortunately they don't zip all the way up for me - I'm not skinny but I also don't have cankles or anything :( I'd normally write it off as a brand thing, but I also have a pair of firecrest boots and they've always zipped up and been perfectly fine from the get go! So I don't understand and it's a little bit disappointing.”

“As someone who has plantar fasciitis, I had been told to buy shoes with a slight heel to help with my pain. I thought these might be *too* high but they are PERFECT! They are so comfortable and I can wear them for long periods of time without any pain. I never thought I’d be able to wear ‘dressy’ boots again. So glad I bought these!”

What I’ve done to help with the ankle soreness is thick socks + purchase stick-on passing I put on the shoes to help with the rubbing. I plan on keeping them until the leather softens.”

Thank you so much for reviewing your boots. We're so sorry to hear that you are finding that the boots 'bite' your ankles. We have little magic gel spots that really help to soften the edge of the boot and also protect your ankles whilst you're wearing in your boots. We make our boots with firmer leathers so that they stand the test of time and we are more than happy to send you some of these magic gel spots to assist. We also suggest massaging the leather from the inside. The heat from your hands will help soften this part of the boot more quickly.
