“Unfortunately the Monarch in Rose Gold really missed the mark for me. The leather is hard and unforgiving, perhaps they would have been better in the nubuck. I'm disappointed in these as out of my 15+ Bared pairs these are the first that are just not wearable. I much prefer the Cormorant over the Monarch, if only they came in more colours!”

Metallic leathers such as the Monarch Rose Gold, are a coated leather, therefore tend to be a little less "forgiving" than other leathers like nubuck or suede.
