“A really solid pair of work shoes for those who want a formal style without compromising on comfort.
I like many others here, were recommended these shoes as ones that were incredibly comfortable and good for longwear. After wearing these for several weeks, I’ve got no complaints whatsoever, just compliments.
These are the type of shoes you buy for work or even smart casual occasions that will last you years and are worth the price.
On a side note, I’d highly recommend this brand anyway for their truly excellent customer service. Just by calling their number, you can speak to a staff member in Australia who is more than happy to give you phone advice or help organise additional sizes of shoes sent to your house without any extra charge, all so you can get the best fit. Perfect for those wanting to try but are hesitant perhaps about the price tag and fit.

“My podiatrist referred me to Bared armed with new (and substantial) orthotics following countless foot and lower leg injuries. The service was excellent and I could not be happier. My parrots are the most comfortable shoes I’ve ever had. I’m on my feet a lot with work. I wear them all day without any issues, and I get compliments everywhere I go. They look fabulous with jeans, pants, and dresses. I love them so much, I’ve since purchased three more pairs of Bared shoes!”
“After loving my pair of black Zinc shoes (which I’ve had for almost 3 years) I purchased a pair of the Parrots as a go-to work shoe. Unfortunately, after a year of trying to make them work (different insole, different socks etc.) I donated these a few months ago. They were too tight across the toes, but loose at the back and had a stiff sole that didn’t bend, making waking more worn than it should be and discouraging me from my regular lunch time walks. A disappointing result from a higher priced shoe. Not sure if I’ll order more after this.
Also, if you tend to cross your ankles, be ready for the buckles to scratch and mark the other shoe.”

“My podiatrist told me that I was either going to have to live with foot pain or get good shoes my orthotics would fit into. He suggested I go to Bared.. The staff member was fantastic and took time for measurements and ensuring it was a good fit with my orthotics in. I purchased these shoes for work and wear them constantly. I get a lot of compliments from others about my shoes and 'where did you get them from?' questions. I actually purchased another pair of different shoes and found when I got home that they were too similar to this pair and I returned them with absolutely no problems and took home a casual shoe that I wear all weekend.
