“I've had these going on 12 months and they are my go-to shoes. Easy to wear and I know my feet will be happy. Only issue is I didn't do enough to keep the white leather clean. A great casual sneaker.”

“I really wanted to love these shoes as they look cute. However as some others in the lower star rating have mentioned they are incredibly stiff. Tricky to get on and simply not comfortable. It is a shame as I truly love my Bared sandals and I had high hopes for these sneakers. I have tried to wear them in, but they are just as rigid as ever. Along with this the quality of the leather is poor, they scuffed really easily.
The only bonus is that I got them on sale, I would have been terribly disappointed had I paid full price.”

Our sneakers are crafted with high-quality, firm leather to help support your feet and retain their shape over time. We also include a steel shank inside the shoe which helps ensure flex through the forefoot. Coupled, the leather and shank can make our shoes feel quite heavy at first but will certainly soften and mould to the shape of your feet over time.

“I'm usually a size 9 so opted for the size 39 of a different style of sneaker during the sale. Bared contacted me as there was an error and my selected shoes were out of stock and said I could try any other sneaker style instead. I picked the Thorntails but after trying them on, I wasn't quite sure if they were a little too small. I rang Bared and couldn't get through so hung up disappointed thinking I'd just email. To my surprise, within minutes they called me back and without hesitation said they'd send me the next size up to try. The size 40 were a perfect fit and the returns process was easy. It was lovely speaking with you on the phone and we're sure you'll be feeling better after a little bit of wearing in. The thin footbed will help give you the space you need in the shoe, and allow that leather to soften without causing any irritation. Make sure you let your feet heal completely before wearing this pair again, and then pop some nice thick socks on to protect your skin.

“I initially loved my shoes but the rubber on the heels started to break off. When I contacted the company I was told as this happened to both shoes it must be the way I’m removing them. Now a few months on the side has torn on one of them. Very disappointing!”
