“I received my sparkly Whistlers a couple of days ago, and I’m so happy with them! They're a little bit fancy yet casual. They look great with jeans, skirts and dresses. I don’t know what it is about these shoes, but I feel like my posture is much more upright when I walk—not that I was hunched over like Quasimodo before.
After reading some reviews, I was a bit worried about sizing. But the 38 I ordered (which is what I wear in Bared sandals and Lapwing) is perfect for me.
I have a couple of issues with my feet (small bunion plus tendonitis). I used the standard footbeds that were already installed in the shoes. They were very comfortable from the get-go, and I’m able to walk a lot further on city footpaths. The shoes have a sturdy, well-made heel cup, which my podiatrist tells me is helpful for my tendonitis.
