“Really beautiful shoe and comfy like it says. Purchased online so when I received the shoe itself, the patent leather strap had already been pretty heavily damaged and bent/creased from other customers putting the shoe on and off, so im not sure how long they will actually last. But overall, im happy with the style.”

“My first pair of Bared's are a success! Really happy with my kittiwakes - super comfy and look so good! Thought my wide feet were going to be an issue - but they fit fine and I can stay in them all day :)”
“I really love the look of this shoe, but I'm concerned about how durable it is. After only a couple of weeks (having worn them 2-3 times) I noticed small tears in the leather at the toe. I expect that in terms of general wear-and-tear, but I haven't had leather shoes that tear so easily before! On the inside of one shoe the lining the spot above the small toe has also completely worn away to show the leather upper. Initially there was some rubbing in this area, but I didn't expect that the leather would wear away from this! I expected more durability given the price.
Initially I found them a little big, and customer service sent me some gel inserts which helped with the fit. I do still find that my foot moves around a bit and I have the strap as tight as it can go. They are comfortable, but since my foot doesn't feel snug, I feel like this makes my feet sore at the end of the day.
Customer service has been great. I had bought several other shoes and they were helpful throughout this purchase and the others as well.”

We do use high-quality leather for all our products. We know it can be frustrating, but the fact remains that leather is a skin and is not impervious to scrapes and scratches. The heel and toe are common high-impact areas.
