“Too pointy for me. I am a standard size 38 in shoes like Think and Naot but found the style of the Bared shoe was completely wrong for my foot. I have tried other Bared shoes but I now know that I the exaggerated pointy toe does not suit me. As I have a credit with Bared I shall try a style recommended by my podiatrist but it going to have to be pretty good to beat Think and Naot. Bared make beautiful shoes but just not for me.”

“I bought the version of these with the wood-look heel and accent buckle (the Macaw, no longer available), in exactly the same shape. The footbed is fantastic, with good arch support and no pain in the balls of the feet even after lots of walking. The leather is high quality, breaks in well even at the back of the heel. Unfortunately I haven't been able to walk in them without socks like the model due to them running large (I ordered in my standard 39 and was unable to return them for a 38 due to foolishly wearing them out immediately and scuffing the toes, also something you may have to watch out for due to the pointed toe being longer than usual for comfort). In this style of shoe particularly, being even slightly too big causes longways movement of your foot in the shoe with friction at the heel and the base of the toes. This is not a fault at all - it was my error to order the wrong size and not return them immediately, and regardless it's a miracle that my extremely blister-prone and flat feet can comfortably walk 20+ minutes in such a nice pair of shoes with only thin socks or tights! Just reiterating the importance of going snug enough for these shoes. Cheers Bared!”
